Why John Brown was a murderer.
I think that John is a murderer because he killed a lot of people in the south. No slaves joined him probably because they knew that killing was wrong, even to stop the terrible thing that we know as slavery. Now, sure he did it to stop slavery, but that doesn’t mean you need to put your family’s life in danger. John Brown wanted to end slavery right then and there and obviously that did not work. The thing is he didn’t stop after he saw that no slaves would join him so why would we keep going. Due to the information I have I think that he would rather end slavery than stay alive.

I agree with you. He should have just went in a more rather peaceful way, rather than killing people. Violence isn't always the answer, and he should have used his words and actions (Not Violence) to try and end slavery. He killed may innocent people, resulting in his death. I agree with you fully.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Noa because the people were innocent and it is a good point that no slaves joined because killing was the wrong way to stand up to end slavery.
