John Brown: Martyr to the North, Murderer to the South
John Brown is a martyr because he killed people because of his religious beliefs. Even if some people don’t agree with his beliefs, he did. Even if his intentions were killing people, he did it for a good cause. In the present everyone hates slavery, so why would people today think that he is a murderer. The big question is, was the cause big enough for him to be considered a martyr. For him, slavery was the worst thing in the world, and if I were in his shoes, I might’ve done the same thing.
I respectfully disagree but I feel that your beliefs are important and I see why you think this.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Jared because I he killed a lot of innocent southerners that some of them had no part in slavery.
